About the Presentation
What Millennials Want In The Workplace (And Why You Should Start Giving It To Them)
According to the US Census Bureau, Millennials are the largest generation in the workforce and they are quickly becoming the most influential population in our market. As digital natives, Millennials provide valuable feedback on product design and user experience that a Traditionalist or Boomer might overlook. Millennials can serve as a reverse mentor to keep older worker’s skills current. So why do we hear comments such as, “Young people today have no work ethic?” Let’s stop discounting Millennials and Gen Z.
To create a Millennial-friendly workplace, there are a few things we need to understand first. We’ll find out why generations behave differently at work and how organizations can profit from having Millennials and Generation Zers integrated into their community. We’ll address the nature of the generation born during and after the great communications disruption. Find out why Millennials bring a new opinion of what office life should be like. Learn how they believe relationships between employers and employees should be structured. Become more fluent in the languages and habits of digital natives. And position yourself for long-term growth.
