About Women on the Rise
Women on the Rise, Midwest BankCentre’s mentoring program for high potential women, empowers team members to work toward personal and professional goals while giving back through volunteer opportunities. The program gives its participants access to top leaders’ thinking and experiences through 1:1 mentoring, helping provide them a broader network to advance their careers. In addition, the women participate in educational opportunities, and form strong bonds with their peers. Women on the Rise focuses on supporting the whole woman, not just the woman at work, by walking her through goal setting and helping her build structure around attaining her goals. Each year a new group of women are selected for the program, and since the group’s formation in 2017, 46% of the Women on the Rise participants have been promoted. Women on the Rise is one of the many ways Midwest BankCentre shows its commitment to diversity and inclusion, so that we can all RISE TOGETHER.
