Effective Email Communication
You’ve been writing emails as long as you can remember. Or maybe you do remember a time before email, before voicemail even. Email communication has replaced many forms of business memos, letters, and telephone calls. But do we really know what we’re doing when we hit send? Are you often asked for clarification? Is your inbox a disorganized mess? This class is for you.
Send clear, efficient, and compliant e-mail communication. The first step to better email is understanding the business writing situation. When you grasp the purpose and audience of your message, understand tone, and follow proper email etiquette your messages will be more effective. Participants will learn how to target their audience, get to the point, gain control of their inbox, and develop and maintain a professional email style.
You Will Learn:
– To consider the purpose and tone of your e-mail
– To understand your e-mail audience
– Advantages and disadvantages of email communication
– Proper email etiquette
– To improve reply time
